Evening Eclectica
Evening Eclectica is a one-hour sonic journey into alternative musical genres, subcultures, and the stories they carry — hosted by your harsh goth auntie, Alexandria Boddie. Expect a curated blend of sound, storytelling, and cultural reflection that spans everything from obscure 80s tracks to modern experimental waves. This session isn’t just about listening — it’s about feeling, remembering, and discovering the strange and beautiful intersections between music, identity, and mood
About Alexandria Boddie
Alexandria Boddie is a Dallas-born, LA-based performance artist, creative director, and self-styled “Mastress of Ceremonies” known for her immersive, otherworldly work across nightlife, theatre, and music. A graduate of USC’s Fine Art Photography and Animation program, she blends formal training in Meisner technique, performance capture, and Viewpoints with her lived experience as a dancer, model, bartender, photographer, and writer. Alexandria's creative universe spans from poi spinning and theremin-driven soundscapes to disco-infused directing and adult beverage alchemy. Her projects—like The Function, an immersive nightlife experience—reflect a commitment to genre-blurring storytelling that evokes emotion, community, and cosmic escape.
