Granny Camp

become your grandmother for a day.

Sat Jul 25 · 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Venue TBA · Houston

We're renting a cute house and filling it with granny hobby stations for an afternoon. You wander between them at your own pace. Tea and lemonade in real pitchers, finger sandwiches, banana bread on doilies. Phones discouraged.

We're still picking the final stations, but think: crochet, small-batch jam in a jar you label yourself, embroidery hoops, mason-jar bouquets, blending your own loose-leaf tea, writing a letter we actually mail for you, a giant group puzzle the whole room chips away at.

You get an apron at check-in and wear it all day. At some point everyone sits down together for a proper afternoon tea. 30 people.

Do I need to know how to crochet, embroider, or make jam?

No. Every station starts from zero, and each one has a lead walking you through it. Showing up is the only skill required.

    How do the stations work?

Move at your own pace. There's no rotation schedule and no pressure to hit all of them. Park at the puzzle all day if that's your speed.

Do I keep what I make?

Yes, all of it. The jam, the granny square, the tea blend, the bouquet. That's the point.

    Is food included?

Yes. Finger sandwiches, banana bread, cookies, tea, and lemonade through the afternoon, plus a proper sit-down tea moment.

    What should I wear?

Your favorite granny wear is encouraged. Cardigans, florals, reading glasses on a chain. You'll also get a CREEW apron at check-in and wear it all day.

    Who can come?

Everyone. This one's open to all genders.

    What does the waitlist mean?

We're still finalizing stations and the venue. Join the waitlist and you'll get first access to tickets plus the venue reveal.
