Switchyards hasn't opened yet. For one night, Houston's newest 24/7 work club goes after hours, and you're getting in before the rest of the city.

This is a discovery route. You take a quick quiz when you RSVP to find out your archetype, then follow a card deeper into the space, one room and one new person at a time. A DJ running the room, light bites and drinks on us, and zero small talk about what you do for work.

Sixty minutes, four new people, one space no one has seen yet. Open to all.

The Venue

Switchyards is the neighborhood work club, a 24/7 space built for the people who live and create in the East End. It hasn't opened its doors yet, which means Night Shift is your first look inside. You won't just see the space. You'll move through it.

The day’s schedule

6:45 PM

Boarding

Roll in, grab a drink and a bite, and pick up your card. Your archetype is on the front. Your route for the night is on the back. Settle in and start reading the room.

7:00 PM

First Track

The DJ kicks it off, we tell you how the night works, and the first switch drops.

7:05 PM

Departure

Your card sends you to find your first new archetype. Small group, one good question, and you're off. This is the easy part. Everyone's in the same boat.

7:15 PM

The Exchange

The track switches, and so do you. New people, and a card game with a twist: how well can you actually read someone you just met?

7:25 PM

The Signal

This or that. Pick your side, defend it, and discover where a room full of strangers really stands. You'll have opinions about lima beans you didn't know you had.

The Yard

Last switch. Find your group, pick a game, play. Low stakes, after hours energy.

7:45 PM

Last Call

You've met your people for the night. Now the room's yours. The photo wall opens, there's a surprise waiting, and the floor's open to talk to anyone.

What even is this?

It's a one-night discovery experience inside the brand-new Switchyards. You'll discover the space, discover your archetype, and discover the people in the room, all guided by a card that keeps you moving. Not a mixer. Not networking. Something better.

What if I don't know anyone?

That's exactly why we built it this way. You never have to walk up to a stranger cold or hover awkwardly at the edge of the room. Your card tells you who to find, and everyone else is doing the same. You show up solo, you leave with people.

What's an archetype?

It's a CREEW thing. Explorer, Deep Diver, Vibe Seeker, Connector, or Curator, five ways of moving through the world. You'll take a quick quiz in your RSVP confirmation to find out which one is you, and it shapes your whole night.

Is it really free?

Really. Switchyards has the food and drinks covered. All you bring is yourself.
